2. Information we collect
Order information: name, email address, shipping and billing addresses, phone number, and the products you buy.
Payment information: processed directly by Stripe. We receive a confirmation and the last four digits of your card, never the full card number.
Account information if you create an account: name, email, addresses and order history.
Device and usage information: IP address, browser type, pages viewed and the cart contents kept in a cookie so your basket survives between visits.
Communications: messages you send us and, if you opt in, your newsletter subscription.
3. How we use it
To process, ship and support your orders, and to send order and shipping confirmations.
To prevent fraud and secure the Site.
To respond to your requests.
To send marketing emails only if you have opted in; every such email has an unsubscribe link.
To comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who need it to operate the Site: our hosting provider (Hetzner, Germany), our payment processor (Stripe), our email provider (Resend) and the carriers who deliver your order. They process it on our instructions. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We may disclose information when required by law or to protect our rights.
5. Cookies
The Site uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your cart. We do not currently use advertising cookies. If we add analytics, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent.
6. International transfers
Our servers are located in the European Union. Your information may be transferred to and processed in the EU and in the United States by the providers listed above, each under appropriate safeguards.
7. Retention and security
We keep order records for as long as required by tax and accounting law, and account data until you ask us to delete it. Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored on access-controlled systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to opt out of marketing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the rights to know, delete, correct and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of; you may still submit a request at any time.
To exercise any right, email orders@berthellemy.name with the subject "Privacy request". We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by law.
9. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

We will post any changes here and update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced on the Site or by email.
